Baton of Hope West Cumbria Leg

On Sunday, 7th September 2025, Resolve was proud to support the Baton of Hope West Cumbria leg, which set off from the SL Centre of Excellence. This inspiring initiative is part of the UK-wide Baton of Hope campaign, which aims to break the stigma around suicide, promote open conversations, and drive meaningful change in how we approach mental health and suicide prevention.

The team received a heartfelt send-off, with powerful words from Lisa and Paul which was a moving reminder of the impact suicide has and the importance of continuing to raise awareness and work towards prevention.

This event is especially meaningful as today is World Suicide Prevention Day and September is Suicide Awareness Month.

At Resolve, we stand firmly behind the mission of the Baton of Hope. Together, we can raise awareness, challenge stigma, and build a future where fewer lives are lost to suicide.
